Aurora Papastere was born in Bucharest on october 1963. She lives in Venice and Bucharest and has studios in Murano and Romanie. She atended at the Academy of Fine Arts and graduated in the sector of Glass design and Tecnichs.
She becomes assistant at the chair of Design and glass sculpture by the artist-professor Slviu Dancea. On 1992 she degree at the Academy, realizing a very complex glass and stone installation, titled "Mirrors". Since 1995 she frequents the Murano's furnaces to realize hers works and she operates, now and then, as glass designer in Murano and Bucharest.
On 1998 she has got the certificate of "Restorer and curator of the artistic glass patrimony". In the same year she has won the "I Prize for the best young artist of Romanie". Since 1994 she is Member of the "Artist Association of Romanie".
Aurora Papastere has been invited in several exibitions in Europe and hers works are all over the world.
