Cesare Sent was born in Murano, and he is living and working there.
He descend from two families of Muranese glass masters.
Cesare started to work the glass already as teenager, acquiring progresively the mastery of the Muranese working techniques and concentrating further his interest on fusing, lampworking and kiln-casting.

Thanks to a deep reaching research on glass and techics his workshop produce a wide collection of articles like animals, vases, plates, picture-frames, lamps, cloks, etc.; but his main creative effort is in macking artistic single pieces.

Since 1996, Cesare is in charge for the artistic management of the family's glass factory, established on 1923 by the grandfather Guglielmo Sent.

Cesare is in the board of directors of Centro Studio Vetro, avant-garde cultural circle of Murano glass art, and in the editorial staff of VETRO magazine and member of Glass Art Cociety of Seattle (U.S.A.).

His works are exhibited in important galleries and private collections in Europe. United States and Japan.
